Nikki Carter

My name is Nicole "Nikki" Carter, and I am a mother of a handsome three year old son and wife to my best friend and soulmate, Sammy. In 2002, I graduated with a B.B.A. in Marketing from Lincoln Memorial University as Salutatorian with big dreams of a corporate career. After landing a job with a Fortune 100 Company as a pharmaceutical sales representative, I found out I was pregnant with my son. My husband and I had barely been married a year and had just begun our careers. I thought that I could "do it all" so to speak but once my child was born and I held him in my arms, I knew I could never leave him to go back to work when my heart was at home with him. While I began my search for a home business from the moment my son was born (well at least it seems), I was unable to find an opportunity that would provide the type of income that I needed to be able to stay at home. The day I left him to return to work was one of the worst days of my life.

While in pharmaceutical sales, I received numerous awards including #1 Representative in the Southeast Area and #2 Representative in the United States for the 2006 performance year and in 2005, I received the award for #1 Product Performance in the Southeast area and #4 in the United States. Despite all of my success in my career, I was always struggling with the guilt of not being there for my son and continued my search for a lucrative business.

Over a three year period, I tried at least seven businesses and wasted A LOT of money; however, I knew where God wanted me to be and that if I just kept praying, he would lead me to the opportunity that was going to change my life.

July 16, 2007 was my last day as a pharmaceutical sales rep. Now, I am a full-time stay at home mom and a part-time home business owner of two travel businesses, TraVerus Travel and Coastal Vacations. I love it! I have been truly blessed. I promised that if I found a way to make money from home, I would share it with the world. I do not want one more mother, father, grandparent, or whoever to have to experience the sadness and guilt that comes with the desire to be at home with your child. Let me help you stay at home, too! God Bless and Much Success!
