Karen Umstattd Just closed myself out by accident, now I'm back and trying to find my messages so I can (re) finish a reply

I live in Central Florida with my husband of 24 years and right now, 2 of my 3 kids and my father in law.  My mom lives just down the street from us and my eldest is coming home with his wife and daughter in just a few more weeks!

I am at a point in my life right now where, for fun, it's all about family and what we can do together as a family to make the day a fun day.  The kids are growing up and anyone who has teenagers knows what I mean when I say they don't have time for us right now so any time I can get with them is important to me. 

I'm a business owner of a traditional construction business (since 1986) and a network marketing business (since 1995), thinking of starting a third business as a fishing charter when we get our new boat.

Sometimes, I've been told when I talk, I talk too much about me so I find this very hard to do.  I am a very passionate person when it comes to helping others and yes, I did have to learn LISTENING skills before I learned how to truely help others.  I would say I'm pretty good at that now. 

But, I am spiritual being having a human experience, ever more so lately and it was just a few days ago when I looked up and said, "You know what I need?  I need a place like I used to have, where I can connect with other like minded beings who have gone where I want to go, who can help me see through their eyes until I can see again, who can help me feel through their touch until I can feel it myself because some days, I just feel so alone and confused."

And then just a few short days later, look where I am.

I don't know how much I can contribute to this community but I do so look forward to getting involved.

I appreciate everyone who's ever put out their hand for those of us who just need someone or something to grab on to once in a while.
