My entire perspective on life really changed when I was back in high school. I grew up in a fantastic, wealthy town. Life was great, I had a perfect school system and everyone around me was “Type A”, (must get into Harvard or Yale students), BUT I had two majors problems; I didn’t want to go to college AND I didn’t EVER WANT TO ACTUALLY HAVE A JOB, JOB. (Yeah Lol, that would be a problem). As I grew up and looked around me, I realized that everyone was doing the same thing; they finished high school, went off to a “good” college, got their degree and then after that, the hunt was on, they all applied to their J.O.B.S and that was it.

The problem was, just the idea of that made me sick! Why would I ever want to do all that work, be like everyone else, just to be stuck in an office all day, 9:00-5:00, on a fixed salary for the rest of my life? The more I thought about it, I became determined to find another way.

I began to search for options and my life changed when a friend of mine introduced me to the direct sales company, Vector Marketing & Cutco Knives. Long story short, what we did at Vector Marketing, was that we sold extremely expensive kitchen knives to parents and warm leads. Lol. When I heard it was a commission only job, an independent rep position and my friend was making $200 in a hour with it, I was out of my front door in seconds interviewing.

Cutco taught me one of the most important principles that I will never forget that…I am actually able to control how much money I earn. This changed my life. This was it! Why would I ever need a job, if I could just control how much money I earned? Literally, depending on how many appointments I made, I practically wrote my own paycheck.

BUT, here was the big problem…

As I continued to work as an independent rep for two years, I climbed the ranks in the company. By year two, I had reached the top commission level of 50% per sale, was #8 in the nation for the company and was selling upwards of $9,000 worth of product on a weekly basis (you do the math. Lol). But here’s what began to happen…one week I would be so charged up, ready to sell, ready to make money, I would have a killer week, earn thousands of dollars but guess where I was the next week>

I became so Burnt Out from working hard for myself all week that the next week I literally couldn’t work. I would come home, put all the stuff away, tell myself “You know what…screw it” and I would literally sit on the beach all week doing nothing. And so it went on…work, to burn out, work, to burn out. That, is when I realized what was wrong with that model, Although I was able to control my own paycheck, If I wasn’t working… I was not getting paid.

That is when I became introduced to NETWORK MARKETING. I remember one hot summer day, I was sitting in my car making cold calls for the knife business, trying to get in touch with one of my leads, when a gentleman by the name of Mr. Michael D’ Angelo, an ex-wallstreet millionaire, and home-based business guru picked up the phone. Politely taking his call, I quickly asked if his wife was home (because of course the wife would be the one interested in the kitchen stuff).

As Michael was about to hand the phone over, he stopped and asked me this one simple question, “How much residual income do you earn off of what your doing now?”

It was as-if a brick was dropped on my head, why hadn’t I looked into this industry earlier? Not only was I able to use my own work in Network Marketing but I was able to CONTINUE TO EARN INCOME EVEN WHEN I WASN’T PHYSICALLY THERE. Incredible! I called my boss the next day, quit the direct sales job on the spot and dove into the world of network marketing, learning everything I could.

The rest is history. I fell in love with the network marketing model because it has allowed me to earn income while helping others succeed. As I began in my network marketing journey, I realized quickly that it wasn’t about me. In fact, I learned that it wasn’t about me at all. The more I focused my time and attention toward the success of others, the more the entire team was rewarded.

The reason I created this blog was for YOU. My mission is to personally help over 1,000,000 people in this country and the world change their lives financially and mentally, bringing financial security back to families with need and putting a smile on millions of people’s faces as they realize that they too, can be successful.

It is my commitment to share with you, the exact things that I have learned that are growing my network marketing business on-line and off-line and the principles of how to be extremely successful in this industry.
