About Me
My name is Michael Pound, I am 26 years old and I work full time as a computer programmer in and around London. Last year I married the love of my life, Catherine, and earlier this year we bought and moved into a small three bedroom house in Bedfordshire.
With the current economic climate, money is tight and we find ourselves trapped in debt. To add to our worries, we have recently learned that Catherine is pregnant and we are expecting the newest member of our young family in March next year. We are both delighted, as we desperately want children, but it does add to our financial stress.
When money is tight, you have two choices – you can either:
A. You Spend Less – cut down on your current expenses and only buy discounted items to try save any last penny.
B. You Earn More – find a way to increase your monthly income to sustain the lifestyle you want.
I choose option B.
I also hope to provide inspiration for anybody wanting to attain financial freedom for themselves and that is why I have a side project on my website, I like to call Project Private Jet and it is my 10 year goal to owning a private jet of my very own. I guess you are going to want to know which jet specifically I want to buy. The truth is I really don't mind. You see, it’s not really about the jet, it’s about what the jet represents, it's the lifestyle.
I want to never have to worry about money ever again. I want to be able to buy the things that I want without having to feel guilty. I want to give my family the lifestyle they deserve. I want to be in a situation where I can help other people who are perhaps less fortunate than me.
One thing is for certain. No matter how hard I work, or how many promotions I get, I will never be able to own a private jet within 10 years working a job. So how am I going to get there you ask?
By following these steps:
1. Investing in myself - Learning from the best, and implementing what I learn in everyday life.
2. Working my own businesses on a part time basis - not making other people rich by working a job all my life.
2. Investing in property - putting my money to work for me so I don't have to work for money.
4. Sharing and helping others with all the experience I learn along the way.
