Hi everyone, my name is Raquel Joya and Thank You for taking time to learn about me. 

I've lived in Houston for over 20 years. 

Since I was very little, my parents raised me thinking I had to go to college and graduate with a degree of any kind or else I would not "prosper" in this country (USA). 

One day, while at work, a co-worker of mine presented me with a DVD about an MLM opportunity that he said would help me create a small amount of income per month. Sixty dollars later and few seminars, I was convinced that that particular company was NOT going to work for me… 

This is Why 

I could not even pronounce MLM at the time, much less know the true meaning behind the industry itself.  I thought I was through chasing after family members to buy into my deal until one year later my father persuaded me to answer an ad that promoted making money from home simply by filling out applications.  I walked in with the misguided notion I was applying for a J.O.B, then the people giving the presentation hit me with another MLM opportunity.  I bought into this one due to the "evidently" promising numbers of the company's compensation plan and widely responsive marketing techniques.  Naively, I quit my job completely and joined with hopes of automatically replacing a full-time income using their recruiting techniques; those of which I was lead to believe would even work with family and friends.  $200 and two months later, disappointed and friendless, I was fully convinced this MLM thing either wasn't for me or I wasn't for it.  So I gave up on myself and the industry, but little did I know that

After reflecting on my experience in those two companies I began to discover that those two MLM companies were not the only ones in the world; that there was more to the idea of making money in this industry that I could imagine. Definitely the MLM concept was intriguing within itself, especially because I am young; to think that I could retire by the time I was thirty and still have so many years ahead of me sounded so much better than a college career. 

So, I turned to the internet in search for more information about MLM and Network Marketing in hopes to fully gain a broader prospective of what the MLM industry really meant.  I also searched for someone/something that would guide and lead me to the "right" company. 

All I can say now is "Wow, what a journey!"  After hours and hours of surfing the Web for FREE info -- and that's only because I had decided that I would only spend money as a last resort for info -- I found an ebook called SuccessIn10Steps. An ebook that I know go around sharing with everyone I know in MLM, because not only did it save me a lot of money and time, but it also linked me to some of the most successful Networkers in MLM whom I now can proudly call my personal mentors.  Just the mentoring alone was and still is Priceless.

My mentors, along with the ebook I had found prior to meeting them, definitely opened my eyes to what the MLM industry was and is really about.  Because of them and their volumes of wisdom, I was able to discover and cultivate an exuberant passion for my career as a leader in this industry and my overall future.  And, you know what I've been most grateful in respect to my experience thus far?  Is that I wasn't charged a penny for ANY of the training they've provided.  Wow, no wonder they are so filthy rich.  This fact made me a strong believer in the adage the says, "The more you give, the more you get." Ironic isn't it? 

Anyway, now my journey consists of continuing to learn, grow and give back to this rewarding industry by helping other entrepreneurs that are now struggling the way that I was at one point and showing them the way to owning their lives.
