About Me

Raymond Fong on: Twitter | Facebook

Retired from corporate at the age of 27, Raymond Fong now find him an "outcast" (gladly and willingly) of the engineering community which he worked so hard to be a part of all of his educational career. He got his BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College and MS in computer engineering from USC. But all of that education (all $200,000 worth) got him was a friggin' J-O-B. Needless to say he couldn't stand his J-O-Bs and delved into the world of network marketing and online marketing. Today, he keeps himself busy doing SEO and PPC (among other online marketing tactics) while working on making BetterNetworker a better place and focusing on his main (but passive) GPT Coffee House Letter business. P.S. Welcome to BetterNetworker :)

Raymond,

Tokyo is great. Economy is interesting. Been a constant recession but it's been slow so it doesn't have people quite as worried. Also the culture isn't to question... which baffles me because there are going to be a lot of elderly people hurting for care thanks to failures in the system if people don't start putting the government in check a bit!

Nothing like what's happening in the US though, and honestly most people don't seem to be feeling it much. I talk to a lot of people who don't even KNOW what's really going on there. They get news about a crisis but it isn't covered in great detailed, at least not enough for it to combat their current image of America.

Anyway, thanks for the add and thanks for taking your time to help others, this industry (and any!) needs that!

Heck, we don't even know what's really going on here :) Thanks for the kind words.

Hi there Raymond

I can't believe we weren't friends already, lol...as long as we've both been here! But yes of course, I gladly accept. :-)

I always try to make sure I read your posts cuz I know I'll always learn something from them. And I love your "say it as it is" approach. Thank you for your leadership.

Best,

Lena

:D I think not, my friend!

Changing the 't' to an 'n' was just to cover up my identity, but now it's all out...

Raymond, awesome pictures! Looks to me like you're living the dream... must feel good, don't it?

Catch ya later!

You have more points than Ferny. :)

Hey again!

Thanks very much for the kind words, it's a bit of a lofty saying I suppose...but it really sums up the way I look at the world!

In life, we get ONE SHOT...and I'm determined to make the most of it!

Mike, Ferny, and yourself along with the rest of the BN crew better watch out - there's a new voice speaking up in the BN community! Stay tuned for lots more info and content coming from me soon!

Best wishes,
Adam

My pleasure! :)

Hey Raymond!

Thanks for the value you provide to the BN community, you're a real leader here and I've personally learned TONS from your forum posts and articles!

I can relate to your story, my father himself is an engineer and VERY glued into the "stable, secure, JOB" mentality...not really the best place to be, especially in today's economy!

It's all about creating a life BY DESIGN!

Anyhoo...I'm rambling a bit, but I look forward to getting to know you better! Thanks again for all you do in the BN community!

Best wishes,
Adam
