About Me

No you don't know me. But no one is a stranger just friends we have not met yet.

Let me tell you about myself.

I am 43 years old, happily married with two children. I have been an entrepreneur all my life. I started my first business at the age of 12. First in sales moving on up at the age of 16 to owning and running a restaurant, bakery and catering business with my mom for the next 6 years.

At age 22, I started a construction company with 4 employees building new homes and home renovation. I was the founder and CEO for the next 11 years of this company growing it to 20 employees and increasing the company’s sales by 500 %.

In 1999 I had a accident 4000 lbs fell on my back and I was laid up for the next two years unable to work with my body. However my mind would not stop. Life may give you lemons but it is what you do with the lemons that count. You can suck on them and become sour for the rest of your life or you and squeeze the lemons and open a lemonade stand moving on with life. This is what I did, moved on with life.

At the age of 36 I founded Hunter Lake Lumber  a value-add wood manufacturing plant making flooring, moldings, mill work and deck packages.

At age 38, I founded Hunter Lake Tamarack Flooring and Hunter lake Tamarack timber, adding to Hunter Lake Lumber.

Two years later I co- founded with Chris Leblanc Treasured Timbers, reclaiming logs from the Saint John River in NB. Manufacturing 400 to 600 year old flooring, moldings and guitars.

In 2005, I was elected to be President and chairman for NNNP Export Development Limited for Canada and USA operation. I still hold this position to date.

Like many people in life, I saved my best work for the last.

In 2008, I Co-Founded with my wife Release Weight For Life. Of all the businesses I have been in, this has changed me the most as it deals with my health and wealth at the same time. Helping others with their health and wealth has become a passion for me.

Hi Tim Thanks for accepting my connect and the direct note. And welcome to Better Networker. Glad to have you on board. Yeah we are many of us networkers looking to improve our lifestyles and also support others in their dreams and success. With all your experience you are going to be a source of lots of stuff. Looking forward to it. Mentoring for Free has been very helpful for me to get focussed and make progress in one direction. Until then I was online each day but going in circles. This is certainly not something to be done in isolation. Being in a support group is so much more fun and also more productive. All the best to you. Rachel Cormier 604-820-1032 Mission BC Canada
