About Me
I'm a 42 year old mom with two teenage boys. I graduated from The University Of Georgia in 1990 with a degree in Consumer Economics. I married my college sweetheart who happened to be an Academic All-American basketball player at UGA. After college, my then fiance' was drafted into the NBA in the 1st round. He played for the Miami Heat and I opened an interior design store. We were married and lived and amazing life. We then had our two boys Christopher and Nickolas. Alec was released from The Heat after 4 1/2 years. He then went straight to medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and I again opened an interior design business and began buying and flipping houses. After medical school we moved to Charlotte, NC for his orthopedic residency at CMC. Again, I opened another interior design store and bought and flipped houses. After 4 1/12 years of professional basketball, 4 years of medical school and 5 years of orthopedic residency I was ready to retire. We moved to beautiful Pensacola Beach, Fl. so Alec could begin work at his new practice and I got what I like to call Floridis! The ready to chill out and let my man bring home the bacon bug...The good thing was that he was the happiest as I had ever seen him. He absolutely loved being an orthopedic surgeon and became very successful at it fast. After 3 1/2 wonderful years of doing what he loved the most he passed away unexpectedly during a father-son charity basketball game on October 13, 2007. This is what has brought me to the world of internet marketing. Today's economy is not going to support an interior design store and the housing market is well not really a place to be trying to flip houses right now. After dealing with the tragic loss of my husband and partner for over 20 years I have had to really take a long hard look at what will be the best move for me to make for my future with our boys. I have researched and researched and feel completely confident in my decision to join the world of internet marketing. I love the companies I work with and I love the continuing education I receive. I am thankful to be able to work from my home and not change the routines with my boys that they are accustom to. My goal to continue my growth in this industry.
