Interests

Interests:
I love to travel when possible, especially to sunny places where their is an abundance of water. Florida Caribbean, California are my favorites. I enjoy my weekly golfing rounds and insist every year that this will be the year I break a 10 handicap, but I am still waiting. I am willing to listen to all kinds of music, but my favorite type of music is the 70s and 80s rock. I like all movies as long as they are funny, yes I even like the "stupid" comedies, I also like a good action movie now and then. An oh yea, I do not like to cook however, I love to eat, which is why I joined Visalus. LOL

Activities:
I have a new grand daughter who lives in Vegas, so I would definitely like to spend more time with her and my daughter, of course being in Vegas that can get expensive. I like to hang out with my daughters who go to school at CSU and go to different festivals when they are in town. I would also like to spend time with my son and daughter-in-law when he is in port in San Diego. I also like to attend almost sporting events, and I enjoy a round of golf weekly. I enjoy hanging out with friends and socializing when the opportunity arises.

Favorite Quotes:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

About Me

Hello! My name is Robert Kivett. I live in Aurora, CO. I have been married to a great wife for 11 years and together we have 4 children. We have 2 daughters attending Colorado State University, 1 daughter living in Las Vegas attending University of Nevada Las Vegas, and a son who is in the Navy stationed in San Diego, CA. Oh and I also have a new granddaughter, also in Las Vegas. I grew up in Florida near Sarasota before I decided to join the Air Force in 1979. That was the best decision I ever made because I would have probably gotten into trouble or worse if I had stayed there. The Air Force enabled me to travel around quite a bit seeing some beautiful parts of the world. I was stationed in Italy, Germany, Japan, Florida, and finally here in Colorado. I loved my time overseas visiting the different countries and experiencing the cultures. I found it amazing how much the same we all are regardless of where we are from. Sure we do have our differences but we really are not much different. I probably should mention the food. The food in all of the countries I visited was incredible. I don’t really have a favorite because they were all terrific. I retired from the Air Force in 2000 after 21 years. It really was the best experience of my life, up to this point. If anyone remembers the year 2000 was when the economy started going south. It was a rough time. Once I retired I did get a job with a government contractor but was laid off 10 months later. I thought I had prepared myself for the job market by receiving a Bachelors degree in Business Admin and Computer Information Systems and was working towards an MBA. Man was I wrong. Here I am out of work for the first time and competing with people who had years of experience. I had no chance. It was very depressing because I did not know where to turn. Unfortunately I did not know then that a good living could be made online. I wish I would have opened my eyes more and took some more chances back then, of well, lesson learned. Anyway the only thing I could find at the time was Insurance Sales. So I got my Insurance License and started learning the business, it was a slow process, and I realized that Insurance Sales was not for me. I could not force myself to lie to people just to get a sale. People were living paycheck to paycheck at the time and my boss would want me to force the issue and make the sale. I couldn’t do it, I didn’t feel right about it. I found myself being sympathetic to their issues and problems, and forgetting about my own. I went back to my roots and found a job doing what I did in the Air Force, and that was a godsend. With that job we were able to clean up the financial mess we got into, put my wife through Nursing School, and better provide for our kids. So if things are going good, why internet marketing? Well let me tell you. I was going through our finances one day and trying to figure out our retirement situation and I realized that the outlook was not good. My wife and I are getting older and would like to retire while we can still enjoy it. I realized that there was no retirement in our future for either of us. So I started thinking about earning extra money and realized that there are thousands of people online now making money, so why couldn’t I. All the ads I saw sure made it look easy. So I told my wife that I am going to make money online so she could retire. Her answer was that I could not stop until I made any money I spent back. At the time I said that was easy, because I think I spent less than $100. Little did I know that was all going to change. I started spending money on every new and shiny product I could find. Everything sounded so good. So now that $100 is now thousands. I have tried many different products and services, and most of them are pretty good, the problem is my focus. I would get distracted very easily with something new. Every time I would get hung up on something I would look for a product that could provide a solution. The good thing is I now have a lot of stuff on my computer that I can use if I ever need it. The bad thing is it will literally take days trying to figure out everything I downloaded. Again, lesson learned. I found that success is full of prior mistakes, so by my count I can expect to pretty darn successful. So that is about me, I hope I did not bore you to death. Please visit the site and look around and let me know if there is any way I can help you with whatever you are looking for.

Thank you,

Robert Kivett
