Growing up as a coal miner’s daughter in the Hills of West Virginia, I have lived and witnessed a number of changes in the United States that has helped me to become an ambitious and extremely successful business woman. My father worked hard for 30 years in the mines, I am no stranger to hard work and the rewards which come from it.

As one would expect from many families living in the late 1940s, our household was not one filled with the luxuries which we have become accustomed to today. With only a one party telephone line at our disposal and the use of tin baths before we were able to afford a ceramic bathtub, our household was like many throughout West Virginia that were struggling due to underpaid jobs which demanded long gruelling hours.

I attended West Virginia State College where I earned a Bachelor Degree in Education. After teaching for many years I pursued and obtained a Master’s Degree in Counselling from the Bowie State College.

While living in Washington, DC I met an acquaintance who changed my marketing career forever. In 2000, I was introduced to a new form of marketing which was taking the business world by storm. This was my introduction to Network marketing. Although unaware of what this form of marketing entailed, I became so intrigued and excited about this side of business that I decided to embark on a course which would provide me with vital knowledge on the process it required. However, as time went on I began to struggle to understand fully how the system worked and although I was still able to bring people into the company, I felt at a loss. Feeling confused and needing a new direction for my career, I took the plunge, making the decision to focus on travel as my niche. It was during a travel convention that I heard one speaker discuss the importance of putting my business out there using Social Media, a cutting edge form of marketing. Following this eye opening discovery, I dedicated myself to learning as much as possible about this form of marketing, taking a closer look a the ways in which Facebook and Twitter have evolved in the business world. Using this new wealth of knowledge I was successfully in creating leads while learning about these new methods of marketing.
Now, I am using my extensive knowledge to help other business owners succeed, teaching them about up to date and relevant strategies which are common within today’s marketing techniques, including affiliate marketing and network marketing. My aim is to empower organizations using tried and tested marketing techniques which help to promote leadership and business growth which in time will aid any business in generating sales and carving out the next leaders in business, in short, achieving goals for both the financial side of your business and your own personal development.
