My name is Steven Crowe,
I have been involved with the network marketing industry for over 10 yrs now.
I started in a new opportunity 4 months ago and have seen some of the most amazing success and growth that I have ever experienced with an mlm company. I remember when I first started in mlm my biggest challange was that I was so excited about my opportunity that when I met a potential prospect. I made the number one mistake in prospecting. I said way too much and give far too much information. The people were so confused that they would go into information overload. They would never visit my website or if they did I did not know because they did not contact me.
This was a problem before I did some training with Dani and also with my company.
The most important thing to remember for any new person, or even a person like myself that has experience is to always keep in mind the person in front of you has no idea what you are talking about. Maybe they have never been involved with network marketing or even know what it is. If they do they probably don't know how it really works and how it will make them money.
So what do you do? I will give you the answer. You explain the business. Don't sell it. Let your potential prospect sell themselves. People don't like to be sold. The cardinal rule tell don't sell. Show them how an additional income stream will change their lives. Build the dream for them. Say something like "what would you do if you did not have to work 40hrs a week at your J.O.B.
Or how do feel about being away from your family. I will make this last point because I will be writing a blog explaining more of the methods I use.
Use your ears not your mouth listen to what people are saying. Stop pitching people and make friends. There are no strangers only friend we have yet to meet.
