About Me

I'm not the best at writing a biography, but I'm going to give it a shot. This is one of the things that I need to work on, but I wanted to let you know what I'm about now rather than leaving it blank.

First of all, I'm a wife and mother of 2 boys, ages 9 and 12. I've spent the last couple of years as a stay-at-home mom, and recently began my home-based business as an Independent Associate with Max International. Prior to that, I worked outside the home in the mortgage industry for almost 16 years in both processing and originating. I got to a point where I was burned out and needed a break...16 years had taken it's toll and I spent more time at work than I did at home, and with my husband working the hours he does, the kids were missing out on their parents. At the time I decided to stay home, my husband was still doing well at work as a Sales Manager for a local Land Rover/Jaguar Dealership. Needless to say, his income has been declining for the last year and has really taken a toll on our finances. I knew that I needed to do something to contribute to our household income, but knew that I could not go back and work for someone after being home for 2 years. Besides, I want to be able to work towards building an income that will allow my husband to leave his current job. That's where Max comes in. My husband and I are working the business together and are passionate about the company and what they have to offer. However, we don't think that inviting our friends and family to Home Meetings is the answer to building the income that we are looking for. That's what brought me to BN. I'm hoping to get ideas from everyone here, and then implement the ones that my husband and I can get behind.

If there are any thoughts or ideas you'd like to share with me, I'm open to hearing them. I look forward to getting to know all of you as time goes by. I know it can't happen overnight.

Hello Starla I read your Bio and just so you know, I think that you did a wonderful job. HA~ Its nice to see a fellow Real Estate Professional incorporate other ways to survive. It was very rough for myself as well for about 4 years. Being a Realtor/Loan Officer/Investor/Business Owner I had a DOWNPOUR in all directions! I know that people are on here "Spamming" and blasting everyone with messages that do not have anything to do with your situation. Starla, I am a person that 100% understands your situation almost exactly. Only I ended up in a divorce over it as well and Almost losing my home to foreclosure. This is not a story.. This is the truth. I made it over the hump because I a do not quit. I am a fighter (Just like you and your husband) You both are fighting to survive and YOU WILL get over this struggle! I am very confident that if you take a few moments WITH YOUR HUSBAND to few my websites, it will help you both. And it will help you with all of your businesses that you are currently doing. This is something that you have NEVER seen before for sure and it is definitely not a 10 step to success or ANYTHING LIKE THAT.. It will only take you a few minutes to see how it works. I wish your family all the best. Just view my websites on my profile if you want to see what I am speaking of.. Actually if you go to this site.. www.bizmobilemarketing.biz/lobby.html it will skip you past the capture page so you wont get any emails or anything. You both will enjoy what you see.. God Bless~
