Tabitha Benedict

All of my life I have wanted to help people. My concern has always been about people being healthy and happy. As I grew up, I dreamed of maybe one day going to medical school or working in a lab. So, that's what I did. I became a Viral Immunlogist working in a lab, and I hated every minute of it! I still wanted to help, but this wasn't the path for me. I wanted to help people on a one on one level, I wanted to serve. I wanted to make a difference!

A few years later I was introduced to P90X by my husband. I was overweight and unhappy. I had just had my second daughter and I could barely enjoy her or her older sister because I got tired so quickly. So, I decided to lose weight, committed 90 days to Tony Horton and Beachbody, and found success!

I took to Twitter to celebrate my success and bumped into a wonderful community of people, Beachbody Coaches! It was then that I learned that not only could I continue to work on my fitness, but I could help others and be paid for it! Never had I ever dreamed I would have the opportunity to work in the health and fitness field, yet here it was!

I have now been a Coach for over a year and I am truly enjoying it! I engage my customers, my Coaching Team, and my community. I was so inspired by the positive people surrounding me in Team Beachbody that I decided to also help people who choose to workout in gyms by becoming a Turbo Kick and PiYo instuctor. My personaly philosophy is that while fitness is indeed work, it should be FUN! I strive to keep everything fun and challenging.

I feel that I have come so far and the only place left to go is up! I am grateful for this opportunity to end the trend of obesity and I love working with others helping people to do things they never thought were possible. Thankfully, I know they are!
