Home School Mom Turned Business Owner

 Im a homeschool mom of two girls, 14 and 15 years.  I live in sunny So Cal and I have a terrific business partner who is also my husband of 17 years.

5 years ago, I had a light bulb moment about being a business owner. I was in a copy shop waiting for a job when a certain purple book caught my eye. From that book I learned something about being a business owner I hadnt realized before, and I especially learned that I had a lot more to learn about being successful. I have been on Facebook for about a year just for friends and family.  I was searching on FB one day and ultimately found this girl talking about social media marketing.  Another light turned on and I took on her challenge to put social media networking to work for me.

Now that I've started this latest chapter in my education, I am making more contacts, building relationships, and my confidence has grown.  I have found that network marketers are not competitive with each other but rather supportive and encouraging.  Building a business in network marketing requires core skills I had not focused on before, and now I'm in the right environment to succeed.
