I created this page to connect with other network marketers who are serious about building their businesses and leveraging internet marketing to do so.
(No worries, I won’t be prospecting you or trying to sell you my magic Gatorade.)
In fact, I want to show you the marketing techniques that will have people ASKING YOU about your business. And how would you like to stash away some cash for marketing even if your leads don’t join your business opportunity?
But, before we get into all that, let me tell you how I got here in the first place...
I kept telling myself and other people in the industry that there must be another way to do this business. I would hear about people making insane amounts of money from the comfort of their home using just the phone and the internet. I would see people join MLM (multi-level marketing) companies and build downlines quicker than people who’d been working hard building the business for 4 or 5 years, EVEN LONGER. However, when I’d ask around or try to get in on how certain people were able to do that, the same responses kept coming...
“You need a bigger why.”
“You need to look at your visionary board.”
“Everyone’s your target market, so talk to everyone.”
“You need to lead with the products. They sell themselves.”
“You need to join my opportunity. It’s better than yours.”
What I needed was training in professional marketing.
Over the course of my MLM life, I’ve put flyers on cars at the mall. (One time Security drove around, took them off while I was standing there and then called my 800# and left a message telling me that I was never to do that again.)
I’ve set up at Fairs and Expos.
I’ve sent letters and packets of info to my closest family and friends.
I’ve posted brochures on bulletin boards.
My favorite? Sitting in cafes waiting to see who I could strike up a great conversation with, asking questions that I was told would lead me into “My chance to tell them about my life-changing potions, lotions, and opportunity.”
I don’t remember everything I’ve tried, neither do I want to remember all the money spent on my efforts.
Mind you, one thing I did notice about the top earners in various MLM companies is that they all seemed to have a million different websites. One day, after reading top earner profiles in issues of Success from Home magazines, I thought to myself, “These earners talk about traditional methods in their profiles… If me and everyone I know are doing the exact same things that they're saying to do, then why are we not getting better results???” I pondered this…and couldn’t let it go. I was convinced that there was something they weren’t saying. Why it didn’t come to me sooner, I don’t know, but I decided to google the people whose profiles were listed in the Success at Home magazines and the other people who I knew were very successful in their MLM companies. Needless to say, I WAS FLOORED! I didn’t even go through half the list of the profiles I intended to search because it took me forever to go through the internet content of some of those people.
I DISCOVERED WHAT THE TOP EARNERS WERE DOING TO REALLY BUILD THEIR BUSINESSES.
I have to tell you…My time spent on Google that day was by far, the MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT OF MY MLM LIFE.
THE TIDE TURNED, and the Journey was on to my personal path of Internet Marketing.
What I discovered is that there is another whole world out there of people who do just the opposite of what network marketers have been taught to do in the traditional world of MLM. These people are not busy posting flyers, hosting rah-rah rallies, begging people to join their biz, or trying to convince people they’ve got the best magic Gatorade in the whole wide world.
In fact, they’re not in the convincing business at all. They don’t have to be.
They are busy mastering the art of professional marketing, just as you would in any other business.
For any business to be successful, it has to apply real marketing concepts, and unlike what you may have been told in the past, mlm businesses DO have target markets just as any other business does.
I’ve always been willing to learn more and do more, so I jumped on board. I invested in myself and learned the secrets of the trade from the best in this industry of what it really takes to make it out there. I sought out the industry leaders who knew all about internet marketing and how to leverage it to successfully build any online business. I learned all about attraction marketing, social networking and web 2.0 and it changed the way I do business.
Once you learn and start practicing the concepts of internet marketing, you will never want to go back to the old ways of doing things.
I say learn and start practicing because it is a real skill set. I don’t want to fool you into thinking that online marketing is easy. It’s just more effective.
Marketing, rather offline or online requires work-requires knowledge-requires a new skill set that you gain as you go through the learning curve. And, if you’re doing it right, you will always be learning new techniques.
It’s always been my desire that when I found something that really worked, to help other entrepreneurs get on board with building their businesses. Of course, this isn’t for everyone. This truly only works for the people who are willing to invest in themselves the time, money, and energy needed to really learn these skill sets.
I did a lot of reading, researching, studying. I invested in training. I spent a lot of time in front of the computer, and of course a lot of trial and error.
I would have made many more errors if it had not been for the valuable training I had along the way. Of everything and everyone I learned from, the most valuable were the ones that offered a training system that my entire team could duplicate.
I realized that some of the savvy internet marketers in network marketing did not know how to successfully teach the same internet marketing skills that had aided them in their success. Well, I don't want to leave anyone behind that doesn't want to be left behind, so I'm sharing what I've learned about internet marketing that will allow you and your team to make it happen together.
And, before I forget, I mentioned putting cash in your pockets while you generate leads for your business. The principles taught are going to show you how that is possible. You see, I personally know all too well the greatest struggles of network marketers, and of them all, these are the two big ones:
1) Not having enough quality leads.
2) Running out of cash to keep the business going. Sometimes not even having enough cash to keep the monthly autoship, which is required in most of the companies to make the commissions to begin with. Yeah…I know what that feels like.
I will show you how to make money on the 97% that don’t join your business. This is the money you will use to fund your marketing.
