If you are anything like me -- you are sick of hearing about the "economy"! I’ll explain a little about how there is no "recession" in my world...but first let me tell you a little about myself.

As a single mom in my 40s (working as an executive recruiter), I was making good money. But I had this nagging concern. What if I was ever out of work? What if I got sick?

You see, as in any consulting profession, there was a limit on my earnings – every hour not spent at my desk was an hour I didn't get paid. Every contract I won had to be re-established with each new project phase. And don't even get me started on my shrinking 401k!!!

Plus, I admit it... I was jealous of the other PTA moms who got to spend the day getting manicured and volunteering in their kid's classrooms. My kids were growing up watching me work.

So I began searching for ways to kick my financial situation in the ass. I needed something that could ultimately replace my income but still allow me to balance my family demands. Then someone turned me on to internet marketing and pay-per-click revenue. Now I'm no longer a recruiter but a full-time Internet entrepreneur. Now I choose my own working hours instead of chasing deadlines. Now I get to spend quality time with my family. Now instead of worrying about the future, I'm on course for the best years of my life.
