About Me

Born in Dallas, but migrated to SoCal. Lived there until college in the Bay Area. Love the Bay Area, but grew tired of the fast pace of the environment, so have relocated to Oregon for a more laid-back lifestyle. I've done typesetting, worked at Disneyland, layout and design, newspaper reporting, property management, computer consulting, and network design and installation. Currently interested in online marketing, home energy auditing, and whatever creeps into my brain late at night. I'm a Mac fanboy, but have a PC laptop running Vista so I can curse at it frequently.

I've been to Burning Man 9 times now, so that makes me a vet if there is such a thing. If you're a burner, send me a note. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between me and any other citizen aside from the scorch marks on parts of my body (joke). I'm glad to be hanging out here cuz the whole 'net marketing field is filled with hype and this community has got a lot of honest communication and sharing going on.

In my spare time, I bike, build electric thingamabobs, ride an electric recumbent bike, hike, camp, read sci-fi, and surf incessantly, the web that is. Probably some kind of rehab for that.

Hello Todd! Thanks for accepting my friend request. I love helping people and sharing information. Please let me know if I can help with any questions you have. Your Friend, Dianne
Hi Todd, You escaped Southern California also. Welcome. All you ever wanted to know about mlm is here. Start slow take the time to learn how the industry works before committing time and money. LIVE OUR DREAMS...guard them so they are not lost or stolen. From The Heart Elwood
lolololol.... I'm not sure how it works personally because I've been a member here for a while. When I got started everyone ignored me except Carl the Cop and some dude I don't even think is here any more! Except the ones you want and ignore the ones you don't... I suggest reading their profile and look for a real connection. I also 'friend' people whose articles, blog or posts I like. Many people are just looking to genuine collaborate and network a few (mostly new) will down right beg you to be your "mentor" or even pitch you on their business (tacky!?). What ever you do don't spam anyone and don't let them spam you. I see you have some on here already... you have the power to DELETE any time. Being here (a social network) is like a big party...Some people think its cool to piss in the punch! Monitor the forums for topics you are drawn to or spark conversations to get others talking. People will start to ask you about what you do and that is your time to shine... better yet when you have your links on your profile and in your signature they will follow it to your "hub" site. Every once in a while there's a bar brawl but even those are fun to watch and sometime even participate! Let me know if you have any other questions... Welcome to the community. Malika

Hi Todd, and welcome to BetterNetworker, many people find this site very useful. For me, I am always pleased to meet people with the same mindset! I am part of an SelfLess organization that help business builders in Network Marketing. Learn as much as you can, so you know what's right and what's wrong. I believe you can find the most here at BN. The reality is that 97% of those who start an MLM business will not succeed. The foundation for long-term success was missing.
