Favorite Authors:
Boy, this is a tough one. Don't have a favorite, but for awhile I was reading Robert Ludlum regularly. Talk about someone who can spin a yarn. And for 600+ pages! For a good thriller, I'll pick up something by Stephen King. I like to escape into a good who-dun-it, but also read a fair amount of non-fiction. Currently am reading books by Seth Godin and a true crime thriller by a relative unknown. Sometimes I'll walk the aisles at the library and grab something that looks good. Have amassed quite a collection of sales and motivation/inspiration books, as well.

About Me

A journalism grad from UW-Madison with an emphasis on advertising, I've held a number of positions in customer service and sales. Indeed, all but one of my jobs has in some way entailed being involved with the general public. Positions in advertising - as an ad rep for a newspaper and later as an AE with ad agencies - exposed me to the exciting world of marketing. It's a lot of fun helping businesses promote themselves and build their sales. Agency work ran the gamut: corporate ID, collateral material, radio ads, profile articles for trade mags, and so on.

In early 2005 I struck out as a freelance marketing writer. That has given me exposure to the world of home-based businesses. It's a challenge, as everyone knows, but once you've made the leap, you don't want to go back to a regular position.

As a newer member of the network marketing community, I'm in the "sponge" mode. I've started with some marketing, running a blog and posting videos. With a background in communications and customer service, my offerings have leaned in those directions to date. They are of value - everyone needs to communicate effectively - but as I gain more experience in network marketing, will be able to offer some sound advice in that area, for my online followers and fellow members of BetterNetworker.com. I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.
