Wayne C. Mead

Born July 18, 1952 in Catskill, New York.  Mother: Joan Harrietta Mead  Father: Harold Eugene Mead Jr. Sister: Maureen Ann Brother: Eugene Kevin Sister: Colleen Teresa Sister Joanne Marie Sister Gwen Patrica.  Grew up on a dairy farm in New Kingston, New York, up in the Catskill Mountains.

Enlisted in the United States Navy August 4, 1971 My sea duty was  on board the USS Coral Sea CVA-43 Aircraft Carrier, USS Piedmont AD-17 Destroyer Tender, USS Edenton ATS-1, Fleet Salvage Tug, USS Sam Rayburn SSBN-635, Fleet Ballistic Submarine, USS USS Philadelphia SSN-690, Fast Attack Submarine, USS  Hammerhead SSN-663, Fast Attach Submarine, USS LY Spear AS-36, Submarine Tender, USS Flying Fish SSN-673, Fast Attack Submarine.  My Shore Duty was Submarine Base, New London, Groton, Connecticut,  Fleet Integrated Logistics Overhaul Team, Portsmouth, Virginia.  Retired as a Chief Petty Officer with submarine dolphins, surface warfare pin and fleet ballistic submarine patrol pin as well as nine service medals and four service ribbon.  Retired April 30, 1995.

My wife Barbara and I were married January 22, 1977 in New Kingston, New York.  We have six children, Carey, Scott, Dina, Kristen, Amy and Joshua.  We have nine grandchildren, Ryan, Brian, Tyler, Brandon, Kaleb, Isaac, Keagan, Anna, Ashley and Aurora.

My wife Barbara and I are now living in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  I love networking and Barbara loves nursing (networking not so much).

Hair is thinning quite a bit, but not as much as my buddy Dave.

Have been working home businesses for ten plus years now.  Was introduced by a David Meade from Pasadena, Maryland several years ago. Since then we have became close friends.
