40x40x40x40

This is the plan that most folks are on with their financial futures. It just doesn't seem worth it when you stand back and look at it. Let me show you.

You work 40 hours a week at your job.
You work for 40 or more years at a job.
You make about 40 thousand dollars a year on average.
You then retire on about 40% less than that.

Why do we work the 40x40x40x40 plan?
Nobody showed you anything different.
