Read More: I would like to start by commending you on doing your research and finding out all you can about Genewize and Genelynk BioSciences before you make any business decision. I am not going to list all of the wonderful things I "feel" or "think" about Genewize.
I am going to give you a list of facts that I have gathered from Genewize and you can decide for yourself weather or not this is a scam:
- GeneWize is a wholly owned direct-selling subsidiary of a publically traded genetic biosciences company (GeneLink, Inc.) that uses DNA-based genetic tests as the basis for personalizing health, beauty, wellness products. (OTCBB: GNLK)
- GeneWize's scientific group is comprised of leading scientists and researchers in the fields of biotechnology, genomics, molecular biology, chemistry, medicine, clinical laboratory medicine and nutritional sciences.
Scientific Advisory Board (274KB PDF) - Currently, the only product through Genewize as an affiliate or as a customer is their Life Map Nutritional product. This is a DNA guided supplement plan.
- Your DNA is collected via a cheek swab that is then sealed in a special envelope and mailed to the lab.
- Eventually, Genewize plans to have "boosts" available to add to your supplement plan according to your lifestyle (athlete, coach potato, expecting mother, senior) as well as a supplement for children.
- The supplements are 90% Organic, Whole Foods and cold processed.
- You receive a health assessment report detailing what the lab found in your DNA and how it pertains to your nutritional needs
- They DO NOT evaluate your entire DNA code. This would take far too long and would not be affordable. The lab looks at 12 SNP's of your DNA that directly pertain to areas that can be affected by nutritional supplementation. (There would be no point in them looking at the SNP that indicates your eye color or hair color, right?)
- Your identity is protected throughout the entire process and insurance companies will NEVER get the information unless YOU give it to them.

I can only assume that you are looking into Genewize as a possible business opportunity. Based on this assumption I am going to offer this piece of advice: Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into with a Network Marketing Home Based Business. Most MLM's are legitimate, its the sponsors that operate without any conscience. There are several teams and sponsors to choose from to build your Genewize business with, take the time to look at as many as you can before you move forward.
One more piece of advice: This business takes time to learn and to master. You will NOT get rich quick. Not with Genewize or any other Network Marketing business. Unless you are a seasoned online marketer and have a massive list that you can offer this opportunity to...it will take you some time to master online marketing and to build your business. Anyone who tells you any different is handing you a line and should not be trusted.
