Over the past 25 years there have been so many business opportunities through the Internet it is rediculos. The one I'm going to refer to, in particular, is MLM or network marketing. Whether you are in affiliate marketing, or network marketing there are two sides of the business a front side and a back side (not front end, or back end of your opportunity). Let's look at the "front side" of network marketing where you are told how much money you can make, or how good the opportunity is. I believe you would agree that in order to be successful in your business you need a Product and to be earning an Income. In my browsing and researching business opportunities I stumbled upon a startling fact. Most of these "Business Opportunity" web sites use tactics (some like to call it a marketing technique) to persuade you to either BUY their product, or JOIN their opportunity. Have you ever tried to find level-head, straight forward information about creating a solid online business? You know what I'm talking about... one that isn't guaranteeing you large amount of earnings and exaggerating how simple and "turn-key" the opportunity is, etc. Thanks to tricky and somewhat mischievous marketing tactics Internet marketers, today, are able to get you to say YES to their opportunity. Most web sites use these tactics full of extreme levels of hype and exaggeration while some are switching to ambiguity and confusion. I have learned while in this industy EDUCATION is one of the most important elements in achieving success, and it applies to any other business opportunity. In the Multi-Level Marketing industry, one of the first things to do is look at the compensation plan to see and understand how every penny is earned, what the loopholes are, what determines whether or not you earn any bonuses or achieve certain levels. In doing so, it will help you to better decide whether or not the opportunity is for you. Keep in mind, any product is a good product to market as long as it is tangable (state and federal laws apply). Let us look at the final piece of the pie, the "back side" of MLM, or network marketing. We all know there are 4 major problems network marketers face in building their business (not the gurus). They are: (1) Lack of Leads, (2) Lack of Money, (3) Lack of Real Marketing Training, and (4) Lack of Duplication. I would like to offer our Web site as a Learning Resource Center to network marketers, and to those who want to understand network marketing (we offer business opportunities, but that's not what I'm offering here). Our Web site focuses, specifically, on education and not our opporunity. One thing I learned reading Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard is Integrety and that implies Ethical Practice in your business.
