terra linguas is new international language education website for FREE at http://www.terralinguas.com

Currently featuring 18,000 thousand words and/or sentences in Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Dutch, English, French (France), German, Hebrew, Japanese, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish (Mexico) and Thai, all spoken by native speakers. Hindi, Italian, Korean, Portuguese (Brasil), Swedish and Turkish will be available in early 2010.

Anyone speaking any of the available languages can learn to speak any other available language. Simply tell us what language you speak (click on your flag), pick the language you wish to learn (again via a flag) and choose what you want to learn, vocabulary category(s) or conversation. Finally click Play to start you lesson. There is no need to constantly interact with the chosen lesson material. terra linguas will continue to deliver a varied lesson of the chosen topics. Work, exercise, cook or even sleep! Not only will you learn things that you are interested in, but because they are presented in a varied manner, you will be learning HOW to listen to your new language.

terra linguas provides many other tools to assist language students in becoming confident in the new language skills. Along with the dynamic conversation lessons, playback speed control and background noise options, registered students (free) can visit language specific chat rooms and meet others learning the same language or those that already know that language. Registered students can also visit the terra linguas forums and post questions to any of the native speakers or other forum users.
