The Truth About Wowzza!

Like everyone else, I have been receiving emails and talking to friends telling me about Wowzza! and how I have to join this community.  Wowzza! is a professional social network community.  It's like Facebook or MySpace with a paid membership. 

Well, I'll try anything once, so I took a look and joined with a trial membership...

Looking around and reviewing some people's profiles, you could see that these are real business people.  NOT spammers and pretenders.  In fact, Wowzza! has a ZERO tolerance for spamming.  I went ahead and joined...I figured for about $32/month it wouldn't be a big monetary loss and I could always cancel.  So off I went into the realm of Wowzza!

WOW...zza!  Apparently having a community with paid membership is absolutely key.  The caliber of people on this particular site is superb.  Moste everyone I have met in the Wowzza! community are business savvy people.  Those that are not are eager to learn.  Members are not just people in the MLM or network marketing industry.  They also include people in direct sales, life coaching, business consulting... the list goes on.

There are SO many business people actively participating in Wowzza! professional social network community, it is mind boggling.  In two days, you can easily make 30 solid connections with other business savvy people.  You can receive valuable tips and tricks from people that are actually walking the walk... not just talking the talk. 

It was said in this particular blog I read that the purpose of Wowzza! is to try and get people into your business and there's no way that's possible because everyone is already IN a business.  Not true.  The purpose of Wowzza! is to connect with other like-minded people.  That's what social networking is about.  If you don't understand that, then you don't really understand social networking.  Also, there are plenty of people on Wowzza! that are not involved in mlm at all and are simply offering products or services to help you enhance your business.  Others are past network marketers who have come to Wowzza! to review new opportunities and possibly get back into network marketing.

Some people are looking at Wowzza! as an MLM opportunity.  Wowzza! does have a forced 3x9 matrix.  However, you don't HAVE to use it that way!  Personally, I make enough money on my primary business.  I don't need to take advantage of the matrix.  My purpose on Wowzza! is to promote myself, network with others, and learn some additional tips for my buisiness... and yours should be the same.  If you get a few sign-ups, great!  Maybe you can make enough to pay off your membership every month.  If you don't, you can always write off your membership at the end of the year as an advertising expense.  Seriously, if you're not willing to pay about $400 a year to promote yourself, you probably shouldn't be in business anyway.

In short, anyone who is serious about their business knows the importance of networking with others.  Wowzza! has proven to be a serious community of business savvy people.  You have a full range of top networkers to beginners.  It's a great place to share, learn, and rub elbows with like-minded people and get your name out there at the same time.
