We Are Our Choices - Diversity with Focus

Everyday we have choices to make, what to wear, where to eat, what to focus our energy on and the list just goes on and on. One of the choices I've been faced with lately is "diversity or focus". In Network Marketing or any chosen career the more focused one is the better or more skill one becomes. For example Michael Jordan didn't play two or three sports all at once when he was becoming a superstar basketball player, and I doubt that Tiger Woods was pursuing a career as a world champion poker player while he was preparing for his career as a professional golfer. So to become excellent at anything requires focus. But lets consider what happens when your skills have developed to a expert level. Michael Jordan did TV commercials and movies, so did Tiger Woods, but this happened only after they had achieved success.  Both Michael and Tiger diversifyed in their primary industry, well sort of I don't know that underwear is Michael Jordan's industry, but men who wear them do respect his opinion. Anyway my point is if diversity is a desired goal, diversify in a direction that enhances your current focus.

As a Professional Network Marketer and Internet Marketer my focused business is my primary business whereas my focused industry is Network Marketing with Internet Marketing as a complementing skill set. My wife Lisa and I are building our primary business into a multi million dollar business and plan on taking our team to the top. So everything we do is with our primary business as our focus. We have achieved a leadership level at our primary business and are continuing to develop leaders.
