Hi Steve - great interview. And it's amazing how much we can learn from Mike considering his young age. He is definitely wise beyond his years. I've heard and read alot of things from Mike and one thing he talks about in this interview has provided a real turning point for me. When he talks about his "screw it" attitude and just decides to have fun with his buisness instead of being overly concerned with the money or success of it. That attitude provided a real turning point for me as it did for him.
Pump good marketing and value into the market place - give freely without want - and watch how nicely things will unfold.

Steve, I just came across
Steve, I just came across this in my tooling through BN. What I got from it that can impact my business right now is content - I noted one of Mike's simplest and most effective tools is what I call a "battle plan" - his list of actions that he writes daily. This I know is a very effective too and coupled with a clearly stated goal, whether that be written or just in one's mind, can be powerful.
This is content, written from my own experience and success, that I can give to others on my blog (the one I just set up and got on-line 3 days ago per Traffic Formula 2.0) I get that basics are the key to any success in any field. Basics are always simple. The simple actions mastered and assimilated to the point of "know it in my sleep," accrue and become what appear to be complexities. But, no, every single action is simple. Master each one, daily, step by step and you will become a master in your chosen field.

I remembered Mike talking about avoiding the "Walmarts" of the world and I felt so relieved! I had always felt such a negative impact by being in these places and find that they are so depressing. As in "The Secret" you must surround yourself with what you desire and KNOW that is what you receive. I really love how business/spirituality/mindset are all so interconnected.

Good points. I agree that these coroprations want to mold how people think and act. Though some people try to resist (like in the video I watched at Not Buying Things at Walmart )) Obviously with the superstores it is to be perpetually in debt, using their credit cards, buying their goods because we have no choice. Not accepting these limitations obviously is smarter. Not to mention the price of shopping at walmart namely it destroys the economy of the area, raises taxes on the poor, and may not always offer exceptional value that perhaps paying for higher quality things that last longer would entail.

subconscious mind and mess you up if you are not careful also your simple daily action
