Does Your Company Have Your Product Testimonial?
Group: Better Networker ResultsDoes Your Company Have Your Product Testimonial?
It's that simple. A strong product testimonial can help you generate new leads.
People want to know if the product works, and if you can make money with the company.

No Brainer... DAH
Joe,
WHY do we over look the simple things? Thanks for this golden nuggett, I am off to writing one.

Don't forget
People also want to know they can trust the testimonials you give, so don't forget that the first product you should be promoting is You!
Everyone and their dog is going to tell you something works if there is a chance they can make a sale from doing so. A testimonial from a friend is worth a thousand times more than a testimonial from someone you've never heard of or had any dealings with.

Re: Don't forget
You are absolutely right - although I've seen many cases of marketers, establishing trust and confidence, and then using their reputation to sell overpriced or just useless products.
Video testimonials are the way to go
My experience has been that if you can get a video testimonial, that is the way to go. People connect more emotionally on a visual level, and when people can "see" the folks doing the testimonials, that can really make an impact. You can go to this link and see how I use video to lead into the testiomonials by two different couples who are on the system I offer people. These are just your everyday Real people sharing what it has done for them ... they aren't being slick...they are just being honest. The lady shown in the first couple is actually quite "humble" when she mentions her "background in finance." She was actually CFO of one of the largest pulp and paper companies in Canada and is now CFO of a major transportation corporation in BC. There is nothing like a video testimonial from a satisfied client.
