I’m a 46 yr old father of two boys (12 and 15) and I have two amazing step-children (now grown up and starting their own families!). I live in the South West of England. I’m very proud of the boys who are both extremely intelligent (I’ve got them exactly where they want me!) and well behaved – (yes really!), young men. My eldest is in the top of his class at the local Grammar School and my youngest just got a Governor’s Merit award for working so hard at his primary school. Something they give to very few pupils #prouddaddy I’ve been in business all my adult life. as a retailer running the family business until I sold up in 2001. After that I re-trained with the American Life Coach, Anthony Robbins and started my own life coaching business, qualifying as a Master Neuro Linguistic Practitioner too. Unfortunately, a big part of my life that was never going to come right, was my marriage and when that finally ended, I had to take time out from the coaching and become a full-time single parent and do some regular ‘jobs’, which I was ok at, but it’s not really my thing. Life’s too short to be told when to go to the bathroom, when you can have a holiday, how long you can stay at home to nurse a sick child etc. I’m best suited to being my own boss. I like getting up in the morning and looking in the mirror and seeing the boss looking back (sometimes he’s a lunatic! But he’s MY lunatic!). Thus I choose to work from home and I’ve recently started working with a HUGE international company. A company I have come to admire and whose health products increasingly impress the socks off me! The main reason I am a professional network marketer, is because it fulfils my values around doing something the really helps make a difference in people’s lives, health wise, wealth wise and happiness wise. In my humble opinion, there is no better business to be in – ESPECIALLY during a worldwide recession when this kind of business experiences explosive growth! My hobbies include photography, travel, the countryside, time with my kids and the internet. Too many to mention really, I prefer to think of myself as simply an enthusiastic student of life! Though recently a ‘real’ student too; I am near completing a Diploma of Higher Education in Humanities, through the Open University, studying philosophy and psychology! I’m an honest, decent, regular guy. I love my kids and I love being able to really make a difference in people’s lives, whether it’s through coaching, through my business or just by being a friend. Life is about making a difference, isn’t it?
