I was born and raised in a rural area in northwestern Ontario and although I now spend most of my time living in urban centres, I will always consider myself a country-boy.  That part of my life is such a big part of who I am today.  I had the opportunity to start studying French when I was in grade 7 and I didn’t know it then, but it turned out to have a huge impact on my life.  I continued to take French classes though to the end of high school and then decided to pursue a language degree.  After obtaining my first degree with a concentration in French, I decided that I needed to be in a place where I could use and develop my new language skills on a daily basis.  So after graduation, I moved to Quebec.  I lived there for 8 years and made many significant friendships.  During this time, I went back to further my education, obtaining another degree in teaching English.  My interest has always been in the area of professional development, but I have taught from junior kindergarten to post-graduate classes and every level in between.  My experience comes from teaching language classes and courses in interpersonal communications, as well as working in professional training.

I left the formal classroom to pursue a career in corporate business where I have been working for the last several years.  However, I have always dreamed of starting my own business, yet the timing and opportunity never seemed right.  I was always busy first going to university then working at developing my career.  The dream seemed to be getting further and further from becoming reality.  I never seemed to have the time or the money and was getting comfortable with the status quo.  Little by little, I had the realization that I was on track to working all my life at a dead-end job with no hope of being able to afford to retire when the time cameI refuse to let that be my reality!

I recently started a network marketing business that I am really excited about.  I have been doing a lot of research in an effort to learn as much as possible about this industry and how to expand my business.  As I learn, I look forward to sharing whatever I can to help those just starting out or trying to move their businesses to the next level.  I have had a few mentors throughout my life and I would love to be able to play that role for others that are interested in pursuing an on-line marketing business.  Being an entrepreneur may be a lot of work, but the rewards certainly make it worthwhile.  I am accountable for my own actions and that’s real freedom.
