From my home office in the Detroit metro, I mentor people who are considering becoming business owners. I specialize in the franchise industry by representing a specific franchise company and their specific franchise opportunity. There are consulting networks in the franchise industry that focus on lead generation and provide qualified candidates for mentoring. Over the last 5 years I have mentored over a thousand candidates through the discovery process.
When you treat business ownership at any level as a discovery process, then the candidate can move through the stages of discovery at their own pace and come to their own conclusion whether the "discovery" of your business model will give them the vehicle to achieve their goals. Simple, swift and the end result is someone who comes into your business with eyes wide open. Disillusionments are rare. Expectations of what it takes to be successful are discovered and during the investigation.

My Story: With a heart for planting businesses, teaching, training, managing, coaching and mentoring have all been roles Terry has learned and excelled at.
Terry has been a sales, marketing and business development professional for over 30 years. Starting at Bowling Green State University in 1973, Terry found his desire for business on the startup team at WFAL, the student campus radio station for BGSU. Graduating with the distinctions of Outstanding Young Men in America and Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, Terry started professionally in 1977 in the radio industry. Terry held successively increasing positions of responsibility in marketing and sales over the next 19 years at Booth Broadcasting, CitiCasters & Heritage Media.
In 1996 he joined a Cincinnati-based direct marketing agency, Michael Eisele and Associates as Director of Sales. The agency targeted the radio industry and medium to small sized businesses with direct mail & telemarketing programs. In 2000 Terry joined the executive management team of General Revenue Corporation at the Director level. Terry led the build out and business development project of a startup telemarketing operating unit for GRC, taking the unit to profitability in 6 months. Terry transitioned into the software industry next, as a part of the executive management teams of two start-up ventures, ExoBrian Inc. and OnLetterhead, LLC. With strategic and tactical responsibilities for concept & design of emerging technologies and project development leadership for revenue generation, Terry again worked closely with small, medium and enterprise level business owners to integrate technology solutions into their marketing systems.
Terry was invited to join the development team of Service Brands International in 2004 to grow and develop the 1-800-DryClean franchise system. Terry has recently joined the FISH Window Cleaning franchise based in St. Louis as a franchise development executive and continues to this day to serve people who are looking to make a career through business ownership with a franchised business opportunity.
