I have had the opportunity to do a wide array of different jobs in a short amount of time.  When I got out of school I decided to join the U.S. Air Force and stayed in for six years.  After which I landed a job working for Target Corporation (yes the retailer) building and maintaining their new stores. After eight years my position was relocated to the west cost and I was now on the unemployment lines for the first time in my life. 

Through out my working career I can think of at least ten different times when I went to friends and families houses to sit in there living room and hear them talk about this great new (and sometimes old) ways they where going to get rich and I could too.  I listened to just about every pitch there was, from Amway and Herbalife to selling Kirby vacuums, Cutco Cutlery or YTB Travel.  Well none of them got rich and I was in a secure job and had not reason to spend hundreds of dollars so someone else could get rich. 

For the first time I was collecting unemployment and working as a bartender just to make the ends meet for my son and I.  And once again I get a call from a trusted friend to go sit down and listen to a presentation in his living room.  With nothing else to loose and having a lot of time on my hands I told him I would be there and would at least listen but not to expect much from me.

The presentation took about 40 minutes and it was for a company called ACN.  Without going into so much detail that I recap the entire 40 minutes here are the important notes.  ACN is the largest seller of Telecommunications in the WORLD.  Now I thought that was great but people know me for building I have been building large retail stores for eight years and a civil engineer with the Air Force for six.  If I joined all my friends would ask me what the heck I am doing selling cell phones and video phones and satellite TV, but what I tell you next is the IMPORTANT PART.  I wasn’t selling them these things but rather saving them on the bills they already have.  Now most people have never heard of the 15 year old company called ACN and that’s because they don’t use traditional marketing. There are no mass mailings, which cost thousands of dollars.  So I can sell a phone companies service with the “Can you hear me now” advertisement without paying millions for a Super Bowl commercial. 

Now the best part how you get paid.  You get paid a residual income every month.  Think of it like this every month when my friends, brother, mother, and MYSELF pay for the things I already have like Direct TV, Dish Network, local long distant phone and every major cell phone carrier I get a percentage of that bill, NOT ONCE BUT EVERY MONTH.
