Hi Everyone.  About Me?  Well, I'm a marketer at heart.  Why?  To me, marketing is about ideas.  I like living my life filled with ideas.  Ideas keep me focused on whats possible.  I also like connecting with people that have and share ideas because these tend to be positive people with enthusiasm for life.

I fell in love with network marketing when I was in high school and joined as soon as I could convince my dad to sign the contract for me.  I had been in and out of MLM since the early 80's as my life changed I would either be involved or not.  One common thread was that even though I loved the industry and people and knew that people could become wealthy and successfull in it, I never did.

So, In the 90's I gave up and moved to internet marketing/affiliate marketing.  It was such a nice change to go to my mailbox every other week and pull out checks for my efforts.  I knew that internet marketing worked and I had the deposit slips to prove it.  I told myself that I would never go back to a potion or lotion MLM again.

Well, as things would have it, in life we often need to re-think our postion when we learn new things.  I began to see, with the help of a former upline sponsor (Ann Seig), that at least a part of the MLM culture was changing and a new breed of interNetwork Marketers were becoming a force in the industry.  Still a small movement, it was worth recognizing.

Here was a growing community that understood the leverage and the opportunity the online world could offer a networker.  So I saw a door opening that welcomed me back into Networking.

If you remember, I spent some time as an Affiliate Marketer and found that I enjoyed it.  Now some may disagree with me but online marketing for a networking business or an affiliate product can be similar.  It also is a fast paced marketing world that changes quickly.

So, I put my focus on helping networkers I knew and that I met to understand and become a part of this online revolution.  The more local networkers I met, the more I saw that there was a huge knowledge gap between interNetwork Marketers and those trying to build a business with the old standards.  While I believe both ways have merit, I know that interNetwork Marketing can build a business faster and over a much wider community.

Recently I began working with a small leadership team for a newer MLM to help them incorporate online team building.  This knowledge has filtered up to the corporate leadership.  The product is solid and the mission is genuine.  I do believe as long a the business is solid and the product is of quality, a networker can find success almost anywhere.

Much like the old standards of networking....as long as you apply the fundamentals, online networking will work no matter what the product, the company or the business.

I'm glad to be a part of the Better Networker community and to meet like-minded business builders.
