I am a 33 year old living in Kingston, Jamaica. I am the eldest son of John, a chemist, and Audrey, an agronomist and brother to Stephen and Peter.
I attended St. George's College, one of the leading traditional high schools in the country. I went on to further studies, completing a BSc. in Computing with Management from University of Technology and an MSc. in Management Information Systems from University of the West Indies, both while working as a programmer/analyst at the local water utility.
I have spent close to seven years in sales and marketing with a Fortune 15 technology company, creating marketing campaigns and working on deals as large as US$4M.
My interest in the home business industry started when I realized that working hard for someone else was negatively impacting my health and leisure time while not necessarily having a great positive impact on my financial position. The benefits I have derived are wide and varied and the greatest of which is the training and personal development I have pursued have made a great impact in so many other areas of my life. This is what I offer to my prospective business partners and encourage my team to indulge in.
In my spare time, I keep physically fit through yoga, pilates, and swimming and mentally stimulated through reading non-fiction. I enjoy spending time with family and friends by playing pool, dominoes, and cards as well as watching movies and listening to music.
I like to give back to the community and the world at large by partaking in charity work, primarily through Kiwanis (http://www.kiwanis.org) and will be serving as the President of my club for the 2010/11 administration.
