It's 2002.

I've just read "Rich Dad Poor Dad".  My life changes completely.  My career goals never involved business before, but this one book set my life on a very particular course.  Most of my free time and thoughts are spent on business concepts and ideas since reading that book.

It's 2004.

I enroll for a Bachelors degree specializing in Entrepreneurship at the University of Pretoria.

It's 2006

I join Amway.  I slowly learn some practical and streetsmart business skills.

It's 2007.

My college education was all theoretical and I'm broke.  I hop online looking for answers and find Magnetic sponsoring, which started focusing my efforts on online marketing.

Unfortunately being broke and living on a $700 salary doesn't allow me to pay for too many other courses to speed up my learning.

I'm left to mining blogs and forums like better networker for my marketing education.

It's 2009.

I'm still broke, but now I'm also engaged with no money to live a married life (never mind the costs of the wedding itself...)

Early 2010.

The tables start to turn. I slowly start to get customers and people's attention with my marketing efforts.  I make a few sales, but nothing to go full-time into my own business yet.

Present time.

I make my big break by cracking Google Adwords and setting up a campaign up that achieves 20% CTR!

What does the future hold?  Who can say?  All I know is: "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER GIVE UP!"
