Growing up on a working ranch raising cattle and sheep and training horses developed my work ethic. In 2002 I co-founded a successful regional horse publication, that we sold in 2008. During my time with that business I wore all hats but sales. I was approached with the Market America Unfranchise opportunity late 2007. The business structure really intrigued me; my then-fiance (now husband, Simon) and I decided to purchase our Independent Distributorship. The next 2 years were spent moving, buying a house, moving, getting married, and selling the magazine. We didn't really start building Market America until 2009, but have since experienced well-balanced growth.
