Surprise, surprise!!
The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY
for those who can't view it.
It's what happens when people follow the calling of their heart.
A great example of preparation meeting opportunity.
Miss Boyle became an overnight success after years of preparation.
Great video, Jason

Why Most Network Marketers Fail To Achieve Their Dreams
Line the Cynics Up
Line the cynics up just right and they all fall like dominos on Domino Day.
LOL!
Let them all line up, and we'll knock'em down!
What really is amazing is our subliminal excuses
Many people talk big, but many don't back up that big talk with big actions. We discise our insecurities by saying subtle excuses with huge meaning and impact on our lives discised as praise for other people's achievements. "She's Amazing" "She has a incredible voice" "She's lucky" "She's tallented" etc into infinity, while some of them are justified,
Those who do like Susan Boyle are thought of as purely amazing, special, gifted, etc, but all I hear are excuses of why people can't do the same. In fact she is so average, and normal, it's utterly discusting! What makes her special isn't who she is, or what she does, etc it all comes down to 3 things she did that were amazing in of themselves.
1. She went against the popular crowd (you can't do it)
2. She took action.
3. She gave it her all
All too often we let other people tell us what we can and cannot do, whether they feel it's in our best interest or not, the "You can't do it" mentality is what we all need to avoid, the thoughts that get put into our head become the reality we express in our lives. It's more than just brainwashing, it's more than just submittion, it's more than just bad people in the world. The people who have influence over your life will be the ones to determin your future, choose your influences wisely, go against the popular crowd, take action, and give it your all.
I love this!
This story and perfomance is fabulous!
Dreams become reality when
Dreams become reality when you take action...well done Susan. Susan also possesses the stamina to stand up to Simon and anyone else who pre-judges.
Thanks for sharing Jason
Average... really?
Remrie states that Susan Boyle is "In fact she is so average, and normal, it's utterly discusting!"
I'd love to know Remrie where you live/hang out that means the singing voices you experience are such that Susan Boyle's would be honestly classed as average! Too many people (including me!) have voices that have, shall we say, different tonal qualities!
That said, I agree with your 3 observations.
Cheers
Martin
To be average, or to be extraordinary, that is the question.
We all have our own personal strengths and weaknesses that are our personal attributes in life. Some people run fast, some people talk fast, some people think fast. It's how we utilize those abillities that make us special. And sometimes, unlike Susan Boyle people are born and raised in the industry they excell at and it becomes part of their life so much because they were expected to do it because they are naturally good at it. But consiquently on the flip side sometimes these individuals with all their success are not happy because their actions and life style are not in line with who they are.
We all have our tallents no matter what they are; assuming the tallent isn't being expressed our best ones are either ones the person never discovered as of yet, or the person is such a well rounded individuals on all levels they don't excell at any one thing but are capable of doing anything and everything.
What expresses our strengths is characterized by our actions, and our actions are what produce equivalent results. What's not average is the final product, the end result, the fruits of our labor. But by default we are all just a human, nothing more, nothing less. And with that humanness we posess infinite human potential, that infinite human potential is in of itself average because we all have it.
I've done amazing things myself, I've done things even at the age of 22 most people will never do, a real estate coach of mine liken my life experiences to that of a 40+ year old, and I got a lot on my things to do list before I'm even 'happy' let alone 'amazing'. And as I look at all the people around me, those who I've gone to school with, expert athletes in many fields, in business, independent, and the average Joe; I cannot even begin to imagine just how amazing what their actions can potentially bring about, yet I see these people everywhere. They're in our schools, our coworkers, our teammates, the person in the car next to us, they're everywhere. What's equally as amazing as Suzan Boyle's accomplishment is just how much another person gives up. The act of giving up is an amazing act in of itself. Whether it's a desirable outcome is up to the person. Sometimes we think we give up but actually don't but instead just avoid taking action ever again. The truely amazing feat of giving up is the act of suicide.
