Dillard does it again.

I love the part where he says, "...wishin' people Happy Birthdays"....lol

But there was a big point in it...and I'll admit I too spend a little too much time on social media. Our time is money as Mike said in the video. If I stopped multi-tasking so much and got off of BetterNetworker and Twitter I'd be done with my product and the system for it. Must see video, this should get 500,000 views and comments.

Making the Grade

 I do believe that I've been "spinning" my wheels lately. I'm rather new to Online Networking, but NOT Social Networking.

I need to get this book. Like a tapestry, I tend to see the underneath "mess" that I  often forget the "master piece" on the other side!

I received the book yesterday and literally eating it up!  The information is so valuable.  I agree with other people posting that we should not spend our entire day socializing.  It's like a great party going on.  However, we need to get back to work on focus on our business.

How timely for me. Thank you. I have been concentrating on social media this past month and now understand how much time I have allowed it to consume of me. I have attributed that time mostly to just learning about how it all works. There is a part of social media I love, but there is another part of it I do not like. Meaning, I do look upon my Online Business (which I am just starting to build) as a business and the need for focus and time management is huge and I am finding it is so easy to get distracted in this industry. So, thank you soooo much for providing a resource that will guide us on how to efficiently time manage the social web and effectively turn profits with it. I'm off to Amazon.com to purchase the book. This video is the tip of a very big iceberg. Social media 3.0 will be the way of interaction in the future... when everyone will be connected through implants and 'who is what' will be completely transparent.

Right now your conduct on facebook would be like your conduct at a party as Dave says, but very soon it will be like your presence in the community... where getting factionalized and ostracized could be realities even before real words are spoken or written (like, by birth). Watch this space!

Great Video!  I just ordered my copy of the book and I can't wait to start reading.  I know this will help me take my social marketing to the next level!

First impressions are key

 It all goes back to your first impression of someone you met on the street. Meeting people on these sites are great for peole who are shy by nature, I've watched how kids these days, especially mine, they  would rather text, post profiles, moods and pics on my-space, facebook & twitter before they talk in person with them. Its more personal to them, I'm still getting used to that idea!

  I've just began reading Dave Evans book and so far its packed with information & steps to really get a handle on it!

I actually met my daughters new boyfriend thru facebook! Talk about a weird experience, and he actually accepted my friend request even after I told him who I was!   and its all good!
