3 Quick Strategies To Get Your Blog Posts Ranked On The Front Page of Google

In this video, I will quickly show you exactly how to get your blog posts ranked on the front page of Google (for free). It’s actually pretty simple if you use your keywords correctly.

What are keywords?

Keywords are the words people type into Google or whatever search engine they’re using to find what they’re looking for. As long as you find some good keywords and use them correctly in your blog posts, you’ll more than likely be able to get your blog posts ranked on the front page of Google and the other search engines. 

Here are the 3 strategies I recommend to get your blog posts ranked on the front page of Google (be sure and watch the video 

 for a complete illustration of how to implement each one).

Strategy #1:  Use Keyword(s) In Your Title

 Making sure your keywords are located in the title of your blog posts will highly increase the likelyhood of having the search engines find your post. (Watch the video for details and instructions).

Strategy #2: Make sure your Permalinks contain your keyword(s) (if they don’t, be sure and edit them!)

Your permalinks determine what the URL of your particular blog post will be, and the keyword(s) need to be in the permalink in order for the search engines to more easily find your post!

You can change your blog settings so that the permalinks will always automatically contain the title of your post (and since the title of your post should have the keywords in it, your permalinks will as well).

In your dashboard, go to Settings -> Permalinks and then Select ‘Custom Structure’ and insert: 

/%postname%

 (see the video for a demonstration of this process).

You can also edit the permalink for each post manually (this is demonstrated in the video as well).

Strategy #3: Use Keywords Properly in the Body of Your Post

There are a few different strategies to help you use  your keywords properly in the body of your posts so that they can easily be found by the search engines.

1) http://www.keyword-density.org This is a free keyword density tool that will help you make sure your keywords make up between 1-2.5% of the total content in your post (this is ideal for search engine optimization and will help you get your blog posts ranked on the front page of Google). Watch the video below for a complete demonstration of how this tool works.

2) Use bold and Headings 1, 2 & 3 throughout the body of your post to highlight your keywords.

3) Create hyperlinks to other posts on your blog a few times within the body of each of your blog posts.
