Steps to an awesome blog can be as simple as following 5 important steps when creating your blog.

1.  The first step to an awesome blog is signing up for a free blog.  There are many different platforms one can pick when looking for a blogging site.  I would suggest you find a blog platform that is easy to use, and learn.  One great platform for blogging is a wordpress blog.  Wordpress is one of the most well know blogging platforms around.  I use wordpress inside of a free blogging platform named Influx Entrepreneur.  Influx not only gives you the wordpress blogging platform, they also give you all the bells and whistles involved with helping you optimize your wordpress blog.  The video below will tell you exactly what you get in a Influx Entrepreneur blogsite.

2. One of the next steps to an awesome blog is to personalize your blog.  Make sure to add pictures of yourself, information about yourself, and how people can find you.  You want to make sure you are truly visible and brand this site.  Make your blog a place people will want to revisit over and over again, because you stick out in their minds!

3.  Third step in following steps to an awesome blog is to blog about relevant topics.  Make sure the topics you share in your blog are topics  people care about.  Your audience does not care about what you think is important, they only care about what they feel is important.  Make the content relevant and helpful!  A good rule of thumb is to see what people are talking about out there and provide answers to their questions.  I find this always helps!

4.   One of the Most important steps to an awesome blog is keyword research.  Make sure they keywords you are using will be recognized and searched for by Google.  I have started to use Market Samurai, and I have really found out how to pick keywords which are being searched for.  If you are like me, and you do not understand keyword research, I would encourage you to find a program and a friend to help you out.  I have an awesome friend named Julie has been instrumental in showing me how to use Google adwords and Market Samurai.  Ask questions and continue to plug in different words and phrases.  Trust me, I keep asking questions!

5.  Another crucial step in your steps to an awesome blog is to add pictures and or a video to your blog.  A picture really helps to make your blog more search engine friendly.  This is one thing I never realized until I went through the Influx Entrepreneur Academy.  I learned how to make sure you describe your video and add the website in the picture.  Small things like that really help to get your blog more search bots.  Learning these small steps in the Academy have drastically changed my blogging today.

Steps to an awesome blog may take some time but in the end are well worth it!
