http://www.cathieheath.com  Marketers who use a blog as part of their
campaigns know that adding visual interest to their blog posts can make
them more pleasing to the eye and draw the reader in.

But did you know there is a "hidden" formatting task bar in WordPress?
Surprisingly, I discovered that even some seasoned WordPress users
didn't know this task bar existed.

Here's a quick video that shows how to locate and activate a second
formatting toolbar menu for both free and self-hosted WordPress users.

Changing font sizes and colors, adding media files and other blogging
tasks are quick and easy when this hidden toolbar is used...
WITHOUT having to know (or use) HTML codes!

Great Tutorial, Cathie

That's a great video tutorial, Cathie.

I have installed the TinyMCE Advanced plug-in that does the same thing as well. It's great to have all these editing options.

Thanks for sharing this!

A nice little tip

Too many people that know these things take it for granted that they are common knowledge.

Thanks for emphasising that a lot of users do not know about these things.
