I flipped through to your blog and clicked on your story of the lady who was at the pool handing out flyers to strangers. Your title was something about Old School is an insult to people.
I, too have seen similar types of behaviour and my heart has gone out to those people. They are simply missing the necessary training. They are not dumb or trying to insult anyone, they just haven't been taught properly.
It saddened me too when I realized the only reason you had used the word "insulting" was because you probably didn't know the right way either.
There's a huge whole in our industry training. Sad.
