How To Increase Your E-Mail and Autoresponder Message Open Rate
Earlier this summer I stumbled on some training that involved some copy writing training and email marketing strategies.
One of those strategies I’m going to share with you today is How To Increase Your E-Mail and Autoresponder Message Open Rate.
The video I created on this training is above, but the basic idea is that after you create a message and send it out via auto-responder or e-mail, you are going to get a certain percentage that will NOT open your message (whether it’s time of the day, vacations, subject not interesting, etc., etc.)
So, to try and increase the number of people seeing your message, opening it, and actually clicking the links inside, you can create a second message that is geared ONLY to the people that DID NOT open the message the first time.
It’s called creating a “segment group” in your auto-responder. And I get into the specifics and details of doing this in the video above.
But what you do is then re-word your subject, and if you really want, re-word the message, and then send the message out to those that did not open the message the first time.
NOTE: This best works 1-2 days AFTER the first message was sent out – not on the same day!
The idea or goal is that you will then get double the amount of people opening your message than what you had the first time. And of course, you will be able to see all of the data on that within your own auto-responder.
If you find this information helpful, pass it along, ReTweet it, comment on it, or send me a message. I’d love to hear what you have to say!
