Compelling Communication

Indeed, it is critical to establish strong business and personal skills to ensure a long lasting lifespan in your industry.

Grabbing on to the latest gadget or trend is akin to grabbing at straws all the while hoping and praying for the best.

Skills can be learned....engaging in compelling communication..it's a skill.

Glad we have a community that teaches this stuff.

Diane, Great video!

Starting Point for All Successful Business - Bedrock Foundation

So true. You can buy every gimmick out there, collect thousands of leads (ha ha) and never get a sale if you don't know what to do with the leads you capture!

A voice of reason - not a doom sayer! Thank you Diane

Ouch! Been there done that...

I did exactly that, generated leads I didn't know what to do with and so went to complete waste...lesson learned. Now I realize how important it is to have the core skills. Thanks Diane!

No One Wants to Hear That Truth.....

This video is so needed in the internet/ home business world. I can totally relate to this as I have been there done that. Hind sight is always 20/20 right! It is quite a different experience to be in a home based business and start by laying the foundation or bed rock as you call it. It really makes all the difference!

Thank you Diane for all your wisdom!

What a difference...

the bedrock skills make!

Once I realized I was going nowhere fast...

Took a look around...

And started following leaders who taught the
core, bedrock skills...

Once I started to learn and apply them...

Everything changed for me!!!

I can't emphasize them enough...

I hope many SEE this video...:)

Thanks Diane!

Great Diane, nothing like starting from the bottom.

I love this article, and it is really for me. I am always trying to get into the latest innovations to get leads, etc., but I need to start from scratch. And is o.k. I think to learn, but first we have to start off from the Bedrock platform, and get those skills before we move on.

Thanks for giving us that helping hand.

As always, God Bless you and all those Networkers.

Great Advice

Thank you, Diane, for sharing this. Lately I have been bombarded by e-mail offering me free this and free that, the latest, greatest gadget to ever hit the internet, etc. Yes, it is free, but...! Of course when you click on the link they want to buy something else - quite often a long list of something elses. I have downloaded a small number of these offers, but for the most part I delete them. I know it's usually a lot of hype and will not benefit me very much. I don't have a Wordpress site set up yet nor do I have an autoresponder yet, so most of these offers can't help me now anyway. The temptation is that, naturally, these offers are limited time only. People get hooked by these words and are afraid they will miss out on something that might just bring in thousands of dollars. They take the bait hook, line and sinker. That's OK if you only take the free stuff, but if you buy every course, report or new software out there you could bankrupt yourself very quickly. You have given a simple, no-nonsense overview that makes complete sense.

Getting those Bedrock Skills

Thanks Diane for that. You are so right. I have to say I was one of those at the beginning going after every flashy new thing, until I learned that lesson! That applies to everything connected with business really.
