Hey, everybody! Hector the Collector here! Like promised, I got you an interview with the king of social media himself, Dennis Karganilla from mlm goldmine and 28 day Blitz! He is one of my mentors and made a surprise visit. I asked DK to go ahead, tell me about yourself, DK. Dennis Karganila from mlm goldmine and 28 day Blitz then said “Hey,guys. How’s it going? I’m just kind of chilling here with Hector and the crew out here in Santa Monica. And you’re shooting a video, right? What did you want to talk about? I then responded with, “Well, tell us a little bit, if someone’s excited, of how to use social media tools to get an advantage, without spamming, like you told me a little while ago.” Dennis Karganilla from mlm goldmine and 28 day Blitz then said, “I think one of the things that people don’t get is that it’s still all about building relationships, right? And so everyone thinks that, “Oh, social media. I’m just going to get all this traffic and exposure, and people are going to come to me. And then they’re going to go to my
affiliate links, and they’re going to sign up. But it’s like, so would you be posting videos on people’s pages or all this stuff if it has nothing to do with them? That doesn’t really help build a relationship with them. I know, when people do that to me, it’s kind of like,”I don’t know you. Why are you putting this on my link? I’m going to take you off as a friend. That wasn’t really cool.”So if you can just get that it’s called social media to be social, and you’re supposed to develop relationships, make contacts, and network with each other, and you’re not just trying to sell all the time, and you’re not trying to pitch all the time, you’ll actually get further in business than what you are trying to do.Because I see a lot of people doing all this tagging people in videos, tagging people in photos. What has that done for your business? Have you gotten more sales? Probably not, right? Because it’s not really the proper way to do it. So if you go and use Facebook the proper way, and you just really use it to build relationships,connect with people, interact with people, then you start to build that trust. And at that point, you start working together, and you start developing not just someone that you’re going to sell something to, but maybe even partnerships, and that’s way more profitable than trying to spam a lot of folks.” I then concluded “You heard him. Need we say more?
