Using Pinterest for Business is a Must!

Pinterest for business is an absolute no brainer.  Pinterest is such a fun and addicting site.  The statistics on this site keep on amazing me daily and if you have not start using Pinterest for Business, you are going to miss a lot!  Did you know Pinterest's traffic increased 155% in one month, between the months of December 2011 and January 2012?  Or how about beating Linked in and Google Plus in the amount of traffic it is receiving from users.  Or if you are into Alexa ratings, Pinterest Alexa rating in the US is 16 and globally Pinterest's Alexa rating is 78.  That is amazing for a company just over a year old.  So I bet your asking, "why am I  not using Pinterest for business?"

Why Am I not Using Pinterest for Business?

You are probably not using Pinterest for business, because you may not understand what exactly Pinterest is.  Well I am going to tell you what Pinterest is and how using Pinterest for business can be help you generate a ton of traffic to your site.    

What is Pinterest?  Pinterest is a social network which allows user to visually share and discover new interests by posting aka pinning images, videos, or content to their virtual pin boards.  Pin boards are the boards Pinners create to keep track of the products, videos, etc they like and share with others.  Basically it is a virtual cork board.  Many people post recipes, blog postings, etc on this amazing and very addictive site.  I have many friends refer to Pinterest as their guilty pleasure in life and I have to agree with them.  The potential for explosive traffic to websites for marketers and businesses alike using Pinterest is amazing!  By getting people to follow your pins and boards you are providing a way for people to see what you are show casing.  People are visual and Pinterest provides people all they need to see the product they may or may not want to purchase.
