Where To Get Icons

Hey Xavier,

Thanks for the walk through. I know it will be helpful for so many stuck in the same dilemma. Here are a couple of sites that have icons available: http://www.iconfinder.com/browse and http://www.iconarchive.com. The will give any individual a plethra of icons to choose from. Hope that helps.

Wordpress Plugin

Great video Xavier. I've struggled with this for a while until I recently discovered an amazing free Wordpress plugin that does a great job putting your social media sites in your sidebar.

The plugin is called: "Social Profiles Widget"

It gives you a choice of several icons to choose from (not as nice as yours though :) All you need to do is copy and paste the URL of your social media sites and the plugin takes care of the rest.

I've discovered it fairly recently...and I'm really happy with it.

The main advantage of using a plugin vs using a generic text widget is that if and when you decide to change the theme of your Wordpress blog, you will have to redo the text widget while if you use the "Social Profiles Widget" it will remain there.

Installing Icons on a Blog Page

Hi Xavier,

I just had to come back and let you know that I have used your tip to install images on my wordpress blog with links to my marketing sites. I uploaded the image to wordpress and substituted the source code to my marketing website. It's so cool to be able to do this for myself and not have to pay someone to do it!! Thanks again Your help was so amazing!
