Thanks for posting this video. I have only heard of Mike Filsaime. Respected internet marketer, but never purchased his stuff. This video made me think more about understanding the importance of tracking; where to track; why to track multiple elements of a sale (so they can be cross referenced with each other, which provides further considerations for measure); and how all this tracking and measurement not only tells the "sales story," it indicates what to "write" next.

Knowing your "Big Rocks" is huge. It took me awhile to grasp the importance of this. The "Effective Executive" really helped me understand this, but was discussed as working in the right quadrant (q2).

I suppose we all see or hear what resonates with us. Filsaime is a successful marketer and many of his products like Butterfly Marketing, Email Secrets Exposed, etc. have been attracting "wannabes" for years.

While Mike talks about the importance of metrics in this video -- measuring results -- what caught my attention was the number of revenue streams and funnels he has to capture customers that take them to the same related high end products.

This is an example of big internet business enterprise. It isn't built over night and no matter what his level of success, he clearly continues to build.

I remember a Mike Dillard webinar from a couple of years back. He was talking about reinvesting into your business to get it to grow. It is clear Dillard and Filsaime both reinvest not just with money for advertising but in a whole array of products that are related to a common theme.

It's something to think about if you're currently making a couple hundred dollars a month and thinking about chucking it all for something more lucrative. It seems clear, we should be look at ways of increasing both the value and the number of products for our own niche business.
