The Perfect Storm
WOW! What a ride it has been this weekend.
This marriage as Mr. David Rutz put it, between Escape & Youngevity is in my opionion one of the most powerful collaborations between two MLM powerhouses! Hold on the Perfect Storm has just begun!
Mike & Joy McCullough
at first....
I was excited about the news. Because an endorsement by Troy Dooly is always a good thing. However now that the facts are out, I wonder if Troy ever took a look at Escape's compensation plan, before making this announcement.
How is this an improvement for the REPS?
Far too many people in network marketing do not dig through facts, or sit down and learn how to read a compensation plan; which is not very hard to do.
Often it seems the disdain for math that develops in HIGH SCHOOL Sticks with people and they don't wanna add or subtract anymore. But, I learned long ago that if you don't know how much you are getting paid, you are not a serious networker.
So with all of that being said.... the Announcement is, Escape ditched their comp plan, for Youngevity's comp plan. This decision CUTS a ton of money OUT for reps of escape.
Again, seemingly, no one here knows what they are talking about. Escape's old comp plan was the BEST this industry has ever seen. I'm sad to see it go. With $5 you were qualified to earn 2% on 9 LEVELS of production.
That alone, was unheard of.
If you generated $100/mo -- you could be promoted to EVERY position in the company - and could earn money through Infinite Levels; Again - Unheard of.
With Youngevity, a company that has some great products --- $50 in sales qualifies you to get paid... through 2 levels. $100 gets you paid through 3 levels.
How on earth can any logical person say this is a Good move?
$300 pays you to 8 levels --- but that's $300!!!! Now a rep has to work MUCH harder; to make LESS money; on fewer levels.
I'm waiting to hear more; but as of now - this does not sit well with me; someone who worked very hard to get the message out about the awesome comp plan. A company that was FREE to join; and now is $10 - with a $15/mo fee for a back office that is NOT commissionable - What has happened to my company?
