Hey, I appreciate the compliment Lee, but I appreciate your taking the time to post it EVEN more. THAT shows YOUR leadership, and says a whole lot about WHO you are. It's really sad how few people spend a lot of time TALKING about how they are true servant leaders, but are unable to take the focus off of themselves even long enough to give one of their colleagues praise or acknowledgment. Then they wonder why people aren't breaking their necks to follow them!
That said, I went through that same struggle myself for a while. And major success for me never really came til I had the breakthrough in my mindset to truly focus on giving more value than I took, and focusing on doing the giving FIRST, without owrrying about the getting. It sounds almost corny, and in our opportunistic, aggressive, self-aggrandizing society, it frankly often feels counter-intuitive, but I found it really is THE WAY.

It's funny, so often people get focused on bitching or mudslinging or pontificating on this site, when NONE of that will move you further down the path to your business goals. Better to focus energy on things that lift yourself and others up and move us forward.
