Been there... and going again!
I studied abroad in Australia while I was a student at Harvey Mudd College and got to scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef. Oh my goodness it was the BEST 30 minutes of my life! (I took the 30 minute scuba diving option.)
SUCH a beautiful place, I'd recommend that to anybody. And I'd go soon because the reef is sadly disappearing :(
I am going back in November to visit again :)

I lived my first 48 years in the USA but moved to the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef 4 years ago! I love Australia and New Zealand. Some really great products like Kakadu Juice and Moxxor are going to become Billion Dollar winners from down under!
